Escola de Trânsito realiza 1°Feira de Segurança e Educação no Trânsito
Na manhã desta quinta-feira (18), o Departamento Estadual de Trânsito do Piauí (Detran-PI), representado pela Escola Piauiense de Trânsito (EPT), realizou na Praça Pedro II a 1° Feira de Segurança e Educação no Trânsito.
O foco da feira era reunir todos os órgãos públicos e privados e juntos apresentarem dados, expor as melhorias, projetos que estão sendo realizados e conscientizar os cidadãos de que para existir um trânsito seguro é preciso educar todos os indivíduos que constroem o trânsito.
A Escola de Trânsito focou numa abordagem voltada para as crianças, montando um espaço para que eles pudessem aprender sobre trânsito da maneira mais prazerosa possível. Os educadores disponibilizaram cartilhas e deram aulas aos visitantes. Alunos de escolas públicas e privadas do ensino fundamental I e II estiveram presentes no stand do evento.
A diretora da EPT, Thays Paiva, afirma que essa data do Denatran é muito bem vinda para que a população discuta o trânsito, suas melhorias e conscientize a população. ”E o enfoque da EPT às crianças é simples: a criança de hoje é o bom ou o mau condutor do futuro e isso depende da orientação, do enfoque que é trazido, então trazer essas crianças para a feira é um incentivo a mais a esse trânsito mais seguro”, disse.
